Come on baby, make it hurt so good...

And that's exactly what it does... hurt so good. All over... in muscles I never knew I had. But damn, does it feel amazing.

Almost 2 weeks since my last post and I have turned over a new emotional leaf (shut up, I know their has been A LOT of emotional leaf turning in this process!) - I officially said #*%@ it to worrying about the scale (I actually sent it home with a friend - told him not to bring it back until May) & was happily surprised to find last weekend that I not only fit into a pair of shorts, but was not embarassed to wear them out in public (for the first time in close to 2 years). And then, oddly enough, I am starting to enjoy and almost (dare I say it) crave training & working out, and can finally feel like this goal isn't so incredible daunting. Also, last weekend marked my first fundraising event- the inaugural Pub Crawl for a Cure which I am pleased to say, went extremely well, and raised almost $400 for the cause - finally breaking that $1K mark, and giving me a moment to breath.

Incredible. It's all good people, so good, that in fact I can say for the first time, in a long time, I am VERY happy with this world. Pretty psyched for all the good left to come...

Sink your teeth right through my bones, baby. Let's see what we can do...
